Chile is the long strip of land on the western coast of South America, stretching for over 4,300 kilometres. Due its geographical location Chile has a diverse range of weather conditions with some parts of the country dry and others wet with a more Mediterranean type climate.

The Islands have been occupied for centuries and each generation has left their unique mark on this landscape.
